Ceremony and Reception location: Fitzleroi Barns, Fittleworth, Pulborough, RH20 1JJ

Guest arrival time: 12:15pm

Seating time: 12:45pm

Reception start time: 6pm

We would politely ask if you could try to arrive 30 minutes before the wedding ceremony begins.

12:15pm - Guests Start Arriving 

12:45pm - Guests Seated for Ceremony

1pm - Wedding Ceremony Begins 

1:45pm - Post-Ceremony Celebrations 

2:00pm - Drinks Reception & Canapes / Photos

3:30pm - Wedding Breakfast & Speeches (and meal to be cleared by 5pm)

6:00pm - Evening Reception Begins 

7:00pm - Cake Cutting & First Dance 

7:30pm - Dancing & Evening Food 

11:30pm - Final Songs & Farewells

Dress Code

We'd love our wedding day to feel stylish but relaxed, so we are kindly asking our guests to dress in 'dressy casual' attire. 

​

Think of this as a step up from everyday casual wear, but not as formal as black tie. We want everyone to feel comfortable and confident whilst celebrating with us! 

​

Here is a quick guide to help you decide what to wear...

​

For Ladies:

- Dresses, jumpsuits or stylish separates are perfect. 

- Feel free to add fun accessories and comfortable heels or dressy flats. 

- Light fabrics, soft colours or florals are great choices for a wedding vibe. 

- If you prefer trousers, go for chic, tailored options paired with a nice blouse or a blazer.

For Gentlemen:

- A smart shirt or polo paired with chinos or dress trousers works well. 

- No need for a full suit, but a blazer is a really nice touch. 

- Ties are optional - feel free to skip them if you would like a more relaxed look. 

- Smart shoes or loafers will complete the look. 

​

What to avoid: 

- No jeans, t-shirts and trainers please! 

- Nothing too formal (like tuxedos or ballgowns)

- Anything too casual (like flip-flops/thongs or beachwear.)

​

Travel Information

- The nearest airport is which has international flights will be Heathrow Airport (1hr 10 mins drive)

- The nearest train station will be Pulborough (6 mins drive)

- The nearest town is Petworth (8 mins drive).

- There is plenty of onsite parking available at Fitzleroi Barns.

Special Notes

Our wedding ceremony will take place indoors, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Following the ceremony, we plan to enjoy canapes and celebratory drinks in the courtyard to make the most of the day. 

​

However, as we all know, the English weather in September can be a little unpredictable. Please keep this in mind and consider bringing a light jacket or umbrella to stay comfortable outdoors. 

We'll keep our fingers crossed for sunshine, but we're prepared to embrace whatever the weather brings! ​
